Text: 2 Corinthians 12:1-10

1. God is infinite power ruled by infinite wisdom
a. Job 9:4
b. Isaiah 40: 26,28
c. Daniel 2:20

2. We cannot recognize or understand the wisdom of God unless we understand his sovereign and eternal plan
a. 2 Cor. 12:7-10
b. Hebrews 5:8

3. To understand his wisdom, we must first understand that God is not the author of our suffering
a. 2 Cor. 12:7

4. So how do we understand suffering and trials if we cannot at the moment see the wisdom of God in them?
a. By understand that while God allowed our trials, he did not create them or bring them on us
b. Remember that God is at this moment working through our trials for his glory and our good.
c. Third we must ask him for faith and strength to endure
d. Understand that in our weakness the wisdom of God is made known and the power of God most clearly revealed.
