Childrens Ministry

At Napa Valley Community Church, we believe that the family was the first institution created by God and still the primary means by which our faith is taught and spread to the world.  This is why we take so seriously God’s covenant promises to the family.  For this reason, we take the training of our children very seriously.

We believe that as parents, God has entrusted you with the sacred and weighty responsibility of training and discipling your children.  Here at Napa Valley Community Church, we desire to come alongside and partner with you in teaching our young ones about the love of God and the power of his Word.  We consider it a privilege to be able to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to His precious little ones, and we are thrilled to see them coming through our doors each week!

At NVCC, children participate in family singing and worship time at the beginning of our 10:00 a.m. service, then are escorted into Sunday School class where age-appropriate lessons from the Bible are taught.

In addition to their Sunday school study, we encourage each child as they are able, to memorize scripture verses and give them the opportunity share what they have memorized with the congregation.

Safety and Security

The safety of your children is of utmost importance to us.  We have two Registered Nurses involved in children’s ministry and we carefully select each one of our teachers to ensure that your children are safe and well taught in the Sunday school program.
