Year of Jubilee was not a Feast, but a Sabbath

Israel observed 5 Sabbaths:

Sabbath of Days: Ex. 20:8-11

Sabbath of Weeks: Lev. 23:15-16

Sabbath of Months: the fall festivals

Sabbath of Years: (Sabbatical Year) Lev. 25:1-4

Sabbath of Sabbatical Years: The Year of Jubilee

Jubilee was the Ultimate Sabbath Celebration

There was rest for the creation: Romans 8:20-21

The Poor would be redeemed: Lev. 25:23

The Slaves would be set free:

Jubilee was a foretaste of heaven, NOW

And Jesus came to FULFILL the Year of Jubilee

How do we live at JUBILEE PEOPLE?

We hate evil in every form: Romans 12:9

We are bold in our witness: Romans 16:20

We live with different – heavenly -- priorities
