Ephesians:  Walking in God’s Mysterious Will

Today: Walking Up the Prayer Ladder

Text:  Ephesians 3:14-21

The purpose of a ladder is elevate one higher.  This Sunday in Ephesians 3 the Apostle Paul reveals the believers prayer ladder – for it's prayer that elevates us closer to God.

Here are the five steps of the prayer ladder from Ephesians 3.

Keep in mind we are to pray these prayers for the whole family of God.

First we are to pray for the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit

Second we are to pray that we would continually to grow in Christ more and more every day.

Third we are to pray that we would be grounded in and nourished by the love of God.

Fourth we are to pray that we can fully grasp the reality of the love of Christ for us.

Finally, we are to pray that we can be filled with the fullness of God himself.
